Technical Designer (Hybrid Working Style)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Designer to join our team in Houston, TX, working on commercial interior design projects. As a Technical Designer, you will play a critical role in bringing design concepts to life, ensuring projects are executed with clarity and precision. You will work in a hybrid setting, spending 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
As a Technical Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Producing high-quality construction documentation
- Coordinating with consultants and team members
- Administering construction activities
- Solving complex architectural challenges
- Contributing across all phases of a project
- Working collaboratively with the team to create meaningful experiences for clients
- *Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a CIDA or NCARB-accredited school
- 3-8 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in parametric modeling, visualization, and graphic software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Motivation to learn, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player
- Strong organizational skills and self-motivation
