Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Alternate Investments (Remote Opportunity)

Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Processing trade deals, reconciliations, and transfers for Alternate Investments
- Identifying and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
- Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity
- Analyzing complex/escalated issues, testing/validation of new innovation enhancements, and provider modifications
- Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
- Engaging with Retail and Institutional Service Teams through email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
- Collaborating with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners
Duties Analysis:
* Reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests
- Identifying client/Advisor amount exceptions
- Ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Reconciling Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
- Reconciling across BOS and Fund Companies
- Reviewing and analyzing correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding
- Troubleshooting internal/external system improvements or concerns
- Identifying root causes of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
- Providing method or innovation service alternatives to Management
- Remediating transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
- Client or Company Companion Service
- Answering business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility
- Providing follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
- Prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demands
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
- Experience working with financial data, particularly in the Alternate Investments space
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as 2340 and 15C3-3
- Experience with tax coding and corrections
- Familiarity with BOS and Fund Companies systems
- Certification in data entry, customer service, or a related field a plus
