Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Medical Claims Data Entry Specialist to join our Data Entry Operations Team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering source claim documents, resolving discrepancies, and upholding compliance with contractual obligations. This is a temporary position from January to June 2025, with a flexible schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Medical Claims Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

• Working within the Data Entry Operations Team to enter source claim documents by reviewing and correcting data deficiencies
• Maintaining a production-paced work environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Adhering to company policy and maintaining attendance to meet individual KPIs for data entered
• Delivering high-quality results consistently and maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information
• Meeting individual deadlines and managing time effectively to complete tasks
• Collaborating with colleagues to resolve discrepancies and uphold compliance with contractual obligations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A high school education or equivalent
• Knowledge of recognition software and/or other data entry systems (preferred)
• 1 year of experience in data entry or a related production-oriented field (preferred)
• The ability to key a minimum of 9,000 keystrokes per hour while maintaining a 99% accuracy rate
• Punctuality and attendance are critical in this position
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic PC skills required
• Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
• Microsoft Office skills, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word
