Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Concierge Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to telephone and email inquiries from members and providers in a timely and professional manner, adhering to defined service standards
  • Negotiating with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out of network providers
  • Assisting members with benefits and healthcare questions, providing accurate and empathetic support
  • Documenting all calls received in system-based call log, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Performing other duties or responsibilities as assigned, which may not be listed in this job description

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, with 2 years of college or higher education preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service or call center roles, preferably in a healthcare-related field
  • Medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience is a plus
  • Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate:

  • Strong knowledge of provider organizations and networks
  • Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates
  • Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures
  • Claim processing skills
  • Insurance verification or pre-certification experience
  • Provider office/facility billing department or financial area experience
  • Strong analytical and research skills
