Experienced Part-Time Data Entry Clerk – Hybrid Work Environment at arenaflex
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our data entry team, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. You will also be responsible for transmitting information or documents using a computer, verifying information in documents or on computer screens, and operating standard office equipment. Key Responsibilities:
* Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
- Transmit information or documents using a computer
- Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
- Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, reservations, and answer inquiries from guests
- Verify information in documents or on computer screens, including text, printed forms, and lists for accuracy and completeness
- Operate standard office equipment other than computers such as telephone, typewriter, fax, photocopier, calculator, and electronic peripherals
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or other software applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a hospitality or customer service environment
- Knowledge of point of sale systems and/or other software applications
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Experience working in a team environment
