Experienced Customer Service Representative II – Building Code Compliance at arenaflex

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide expert technical support to the general public, assisting with the planning and development process related to building permits

  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complex issues, and provide guidance on building codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with arenaflex policies and procedures
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent, plus three (3) years of direct customer service experience

  • Successful completion of all classes for any one (1) phase of the arenaflex Employee Development Program and a passing score of 70% or higher on the phase examination within twelve (12) months of employment
  • One (1) year of experience as a Customer Service Representative I at arenaflex, plus successful completion of all classes for any one (1) phase of the Employee Development Program and a passing score of 70% or higher on the phase examination, with a current performance evaluation score of 4.0 or higher
  • Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis
  • Experience in a construction environment, building department, or permitting and development is preferred
  • Successful completion of college coursework in a construction field is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

* Active Florida Notary Public certification, with the ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of employment

  • Experience working in a government agency or public sector organization
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

Physical Requirements:

* The employee must be able to: + LIFT: 20 lbs. + CARRY: 20 lbs. + PUSH: 20 lbs. + PULL: 20 lbs.

  • In an eight-hour day, the employee may have to:

+ STAND: 1-3 hours + WALK: 1-3 hours + SIT: 3-5 hours + DRIVE: None

  • The employee must repetitively perform:

+ Simple grasping (e.g., pen, screwdriver) + Fine manipulation (e.g., writing, wiring) + Pulling + Pushing

  • The employee must be able to:

+ Reach + Balance + Bend + Kneel

  • The employee must have:

+ Good speech + Color Perception + Good distant vision + Good hearing + Good near vision + Use of both eyes
