Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Active Listening: Actively listen to customers to understand their concerns, needs, and build rapport.
- Essential Support: Provide essential support in navigating the customer's inquiries and explaining it in simple terms.
- Solution Discovery: Discover solutions using tools and resources to help meet the customer's needs.
- Concern Resolution: Empathize and resolve concerns to simplify the customer's experience.
- Technical Navigation: Navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Age and Education: Be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Customer Service Experience: Have a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center (utilities industry experience is a plus).
- Self-Driven: Be self-driven and able to focus on the same task/objective for long periods of time.
- Customer Service Skills: Possess exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Have high computer proficiency and overall technical knowledge.
- Availability: Be available to work between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday Eastern Standard Time.
- Attitude and Etiquette: Possess a professional positive attitude and courteous telephone etiquette.
- Customer Focus: Have a customer-focused personality and motivation to achieve goals.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check, including credit review and assessments in training.

* Bilingual in Spanish: Bilingual in Spanish (preferred for higher pay rate).
