Job Summary

As a Customer Service Consultant for the Aetna Answer Team at arenaflex, you will serve as a vital point of contact within a client-facing team in a call center environment. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to a variety of client service requests and issues, which may include enrollment and billing inquiries, commissions, technical support, group administration, and other routine customer service inquiries. The role emphasizes delivering first-call resolution for 90-95% of inquiries, which requires accurately identifying, researching, and resolving issues based on the initial communication from the client, whether it be through phone calls, letters, or emails.

Responsibilities

* Respond to client service requests and issues in a call center environment, utilizing your exceptional customer service skills to address and resolve client concerns effectively.

  • Deliver first-call resolution for 90-95% of inquiries, accurately identifying, researching, and resolving issues based on initial client communication.
  • Provide support for enrollment and billing inquiries, commissions, technical support, and group administration, utilizing your problem-solving skills to address complex issues.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in all interactions with clients, ensuring that every interaction is positive and productive.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to address and resolve client concerns effectively, developing technical acumen to resolve more complex issues.

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • Prior call center experience is required, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Experience in process improvement and root-cause analysis methodologies is preferred, as is the capability to develop technical acumen.
  • Strong client-facing orientation is essential, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and resolve issues effectively.
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills are required, with a proven ability to address and resolve client concerns in a timely and effective manner.

Nice-to-Haves

* Experience in healthcare or a related field is a plus, as is experience with CRM software and other customer service tools.

  • Certification in customer service or a related field is also a plus, as is experience with process improvement and root-cause analysis methodologies.
