Job Summary
As a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Specialist with arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our revenue operations department. You'll be responsible for performing a range of duties related to medical insurance collections, credits, and patient insurance coverage. Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing duties related to revenue operations, including medical insurance collections, credits, and patient insurance coverage
- Communicating with insurance payers to ensure proper insurance coverage for our patients or to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for dialysis services rendered at our clinics
- Responding timely and accurately to payer communications
- Collaborating with other revenue operations teams to ensure seamless processes across teams
- Partnering with clinics teammates, including Insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators, to ensure timely and accurate insurance information
- Identifying process changes and opportunities for continuous improvements
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of six (6) months corporate office experience required
- Previous Revenue Cycle experience is preferred but not required
- Data Entry experience filling out online forms
- Savvy in navigating through the internet and provider portals
- Proper claim accounting knowledge is a big plus
- Medical billing or accounting experience is a big plus

Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous experience in healthcare revenue cycle or a related field
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding principles
- Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications
- Certification in medical billing or coding (e.g., CPC, CCS)
