Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional patient service in the name of our clients, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable
  • Contacting patients via telephone to collect payment on medical bills, using your excellent communication skills to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve any disputes
  • Reviewing patient accounts and documents, using your analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Setting up patient payments via check, electronic transfer, or credit card, ensuring that all transactions are secure and accurate
  • Working closely with team leads, management, and clients to resolve disputes and ensure patient satisfaction
  • Meeting or exceeding established goals, using your problem-solving skills to overcome any challenges that arise
  • Performing all other duties as assigned by management, including participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate, with one to two years of college preferred
  • Prior customer service experience, with medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • One to two years of experience in a customer service or medical billing role
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing and revenue cycle management principles
  • Experience working in a fast-paced call center environment
  • Certification in medical billing or a related field
