Developer Relations Manager, Higher Education and Research
Job Description:
- Act as a trusted technical advisor at scale for academic and research communities, driving researcher enablement and democratizing access to AI education across universities through 1:few and 1:many engagement models.
- Identify and accelerate high-impact research workloads by delivering scalable, repeatable solutions that integrate NVIDIA’s core software stack into widely adopted academic pipelines and institutional platforms.
- Develop and scale technical enablement resources, such as curricula, guides, and reference pipelines, to support researcher productivity and democratize AI and HPC education across disciplines including materials science, computational chemistry, climate science, biosciences, and quantum computing.
- Nurture and grow the EdTech ISV ecosystem and drive product adoption with top ISVs.
- Map and continuously assess the academic and research ecosystem to identify growth opportunities, expand institutional adoption, and inform long-term education and technology strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with solution architects, engineering, product, and marketing teams to drive researcher enablement programs and university engagement initiatives.
- Design and lead workshops, curriculum integrations, and hands-on training programs to deepen technical proficiency and broaden access to NVIDIA technologies across universities.
- Represent the needs of researchers, educators, and students internally by translating academic feedback into actionable insights that shape product development, education programs, and platform roadmaps.
Requirements:
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience demonstrating comparable depth.
- 5+ years of experience in the technology sector, spanning software engineering, developer relations, technical partnerships, or hands-on development in accelerated computing environments.
- Strong domain expertise in high-performance computing and AI/ML, with exposure to scientific computing domains such as robotics, quantum computing, materials science, computational chemistry, climate science, or biosciences.
- Outstanding communication and influence skills, with the capability to convey complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for academic audiences.
- Proven track record of driving complex technical engagements end-to-end.
