Principle Project Manager Engineer - Remote within the US
Job Description: Job Overview This role requires the ability to balance technical portfolio planning with hands-on project management. The Principal Project Manager Engineer will partner across business units and stakeholder groups to help develop, maintain, and communicate integrated advanced technology and manufacturing process roadmaps aligned with business objectives. The position calls for a proven project leader with direct experience in technology readiness levels and technology transfer, working effectively with both internal teams and external partners. To enhance the organization's operational efficiency and effectiveness, the role will contribute to the development and deployment of new project management tools and best practices, facilitate advanced technology governance forums, and support administration of the quarterly technology awards program. Job Requirements 3 7 Proven success leading complex technology, process, and research-driven projects, including effective technology transfer into new product development. 3 7 Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including establishing execution cadence and managing expectations. 3 7 Ability to develop and manage project schedules, resource plans, budgets, risks, and progress reporting. 3 7 Demonstrated technical and managerial problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical insights and guide projects to successful outcomes. 3 7 Experience collaborating across the business to help develop and maintain integrated advanced technology and manufacturing process roadmaps aligned with business objectives. 3 7 Ability to plan, lead, and facilitate technology reviews and decision forums. 3 7 Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that values different perspectives and experiences. What your background should look like 3 7 Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10+ years of professional experience. 3 7 5-6 years of project management experience in a commercial environment focused on hardware development for AI, datacenter, or telecom applications. 3 7 Project management certification (PMP, CSM, MPM, or equivalent). 3 7 Experience leading multicultural teams, as well as mentoring / coaching or directly supervising project managers. 3 7 Strong understanding of Stage-Gate processes for technology development. 3 7 Hands-on exposure to one or more manufacturing processes, such as molding, stamping, plating, or high-speed cable and cable assembly manufacturing. 3 7 Proven ability to lead external technical partnerships and drive technology insertion into product development and manufacturing organizations. 3 7 Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar tools and experience in roadmap and portfolio management. 3 7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams. Competencies SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers) COMPENSATION 3 7 Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $161,200 - 185,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location) 3 7 Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
