Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Actively listening to customers to understand their concerns, needs, and build rapport
• Providing essential support in navigating the customer's inquiries and explaining it in simple terms
• Discovering solutions using tools and resources to help meet the customer's needs
• Empathizing and resolving concerns to simplify the customer's experience
• Navigating through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• To be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or its equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center (utilities industry experience is a plus)
• To be self-driven and able to focus on the same task/objective for long periods of time
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
• High computer proficiency and overall technical knowledge
• Open availability between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday Eastern Standard Time
• A professional, positive attitude and courteous telephone etiquette
• A customer-focused personality and motivation to achieve goals
• To pass a background check, including credit review and assessments in training
