Job Summary

The Category Manager – Technology Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a critical role that requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and interpersonal skills. As a trusted advisor to our Air Operations groups, including Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of related Technology suppliers and categories. Your primary objective will be to maximize supplier value, mitigate risk, and ensure that our suppliers successfully meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a portfolio of Technology suppliers and categories, including Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing events, negotiations, and contract drafting to maximize supplier value and mitigate risk
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure suppliers meet business objectives and provide exceptional service
• Analyze complex data and market trends to inform procurement decisions and drive business growth
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Mentor junior level colleagues and provide guidance on best practices and industry trends
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies to ensure arenaflex remains competitive and innovative

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
• Proven track record of success in managing complex contracts, negotiations, and supplier relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and market trends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• Certification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field (e.g. CSCP, CPSM)
• Experience working in the airline industry or a related field
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends
• Fluency in multiple languages (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic)
