Key Responsibilities:

* Perform a critical part of the patient care process by accurately receiving and routing laboratory specimens for testing

• Data enter lab requests, double-check test orders, and recognize when corrective action is needed to ensure accurate and timely results
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control to maintain the highest standards of patient care
• Contribute to the success of our team by providing exceptional support and assistance to patients and colleagues

Essential Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills to accurately process and enter data
• Typing proficiency, including 10-key, to efficiently manage data entry tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing

• Data entry experience in a production environment to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Skills and Competencies:

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and patients
