As a Manager State & Higher Education, you will be a key player in executing the strategic direction of State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts. You will join our dynamic Southwest Business Department, where you'll have the opportunity to coach and professionally develop our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Manager State & Higher Education at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Executing the strategic direction of State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts
  • Coaching and professionally developing Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management team
  • Increasing sales and establishing formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
  • Broadening awareness of arenaflex corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
  • Identifying, hiring, onboarding, and training a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in increasing sales and establishing partnerships
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience in developing and managing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working in the travel industry, particularly in corporate travel or managed travel
  • Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services, or experience working with similar airlines or travel companies
  • Experience with sales force automation tools and CRM systems
  • Certification in sales, marketing, or a related field
  • Fluency in a second language

As a remote work opportunity, this role will require occasional travel for training, meetings, and conferences. However, the majority of your working time will be spent in a remote location, away from our Corporate Campus. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Bonus and commission opportunities based on performance
