Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Experience Agent, you'll be responsible for:
- Fielding incoming customer service calls, taking ownership of resolving customer issues in a timely and accurate manner
- Researching account status and identifying account issues to provide effective solutions
- Addressing billing inquiries and resolving billing disputes with professionalism and empathy
- Processing disconnection and re-connection requests with precision and efficiency
- Enrolling customers and resolving enrollment issues with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Initiating collection activity on past due accounts and processing disconnection and re-connection requests with a commitment to customer care
- Serving as a customer advocate while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role
Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required: Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for communicating effectively with our diverse customer base
- Outstanding phone etiquette and polished communication skills: You'll need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide top-notch customer service
- Excellent listening skills: The ability to listen attentively to customers and respond with empathy and understanding is crucial
- Ability to maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with agitated customers: You'll need to remain composed and professional even in challenging situations

- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills: You'll need to be able to analyze customer issues and provide effective solutions

- Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Word and Excel applications: Familiarity with these applications is required for efficient performance

Experience
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment: Previous experience in a call center environment is essential for success in this role
- Customer care experience strongly preferred: Experience in customer-facing roles is highly valued
- Experience within the retail electricity industry strongly preferred: Familiarity with the Electricity industry is a plus, but not required
- Experience in similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable preferred: Experience in related industries can be beneficial, but not required
