Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our Clinical Research and Evidence Generation team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and executing advanced statistical analyses, data mining, and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large datasets. Your expertise will help us generate high-quality evidence to inform business decisions, drive innovation, and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and execute advanced statistical analyses, data mining, and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical research, biopharmaceutical, and medical affairs, to generate high-quality evidence and inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data visualization tools to support data-driven decision-making
- Conduct data quality checks, data cleaning, and data transformation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
- Collaborate with data scientists, statisticians, and other experts to develop and implement advanced analytics solutions
- Develop and maintain documentation of data analysis processes, results, and insights
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders, including business leaders, clinicians, and researchers
Essential Capabilities
* Master's or Ph.D. degree in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field
- Experience in designing and executing strong and reproducible statistical analyses, including observational studies and clinical trials
- Knowledge of normal statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, regression, decision trees, machine learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis
- Experience handling large datasets from various sources, including electronic health records, claims data, and clinical trials
- Experience working with protected patient health information and adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines
- Familiarity with at least one of the following: R, Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or other business intelligence tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Capabilities
* Ph.D. or graduate degree in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field
- Experience with electronic health records, disease libraries, and claims data
- Familiarity with clinical data standards, clinical terminologies, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode)
- Experience with Great Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance rules for real-world evidence studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR)
- Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology platforms and solutions
- Experience with exploratory design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics
- Understanding of statistics and AI techniques, with the ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills
