Key Responsibilities

As a Concierge Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Responding to telephone and email inquiries from members and providers within defined service standards
• Negotiating with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out of network providers
• Assisting members with benefits and healthcare questions
• Documenting all calls received in system-based call log
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
• Staying up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to provide expert guidance to members and providers

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, with 2 years of college or higher education preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or call center roles, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience is a plus
• Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus
• Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, strong computer skills, and computer navigation
• Excellent data entry and typing skills
• Knowledge of provider organizations and networks
• Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates
• Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Medical terminology knowledge
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

• Experience in provider office/facility billing department or financial area
• Claim processing skills
• Insurance verification or pre-certification experience
• Understanding of Self-Funded health benefits
• Strong initiative and ability to take ownership of projects and tasks

Work Environment and Culture

As a remote Concierge Customer Service Representative, you'll work in a typical office/home office environment, requiring prolonged sitting in front of a computer. You'll need to be comfortable with hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment, including computers and phone systems. Compensation and Benefits
