Job Description

As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting one of our dedicated accounts, handling inbound calls, emails, or chat support for a single account. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering and verifying the caller's information and documenting it inside the appropriate system
  • Providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and de-escalating situations
  • Utilizing multiple systems with your computer to navigate and troubleshoot issues
  • Maintaining a quiet and distraction-free workspace, free from background noise

Key Responsibilities:

* Handle inbound calls, emails, or chat support for a single account

  • Gather and verify caller information and document it inside the appropriate system
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and de-escalating situations
  • Utilize multiple systems with your computer to navigate and troubleshoot issues
  • Maintain a quiet and distraction-free workspace, free from background noise

Essential Qualifications:

* Must be able to pass a background check

  • Must have experience in insurance and medical claims
  • Must provide 3 professional references
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience in a high call volume environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal with upset customers and de-escalate the situation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to navigate through multiple systems with your computer
  • Technical abilities sufficient to install/uninstall programs and troubleshoot your own equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Genesys Phone Systems

  • Previous call center experience
  • Previous experience working remotely
  • Basic technical support experience

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:

* Pay Rate: $15.00 hourly

  • Medical, Dental & Vision benefits
  • Benefits-eligible on the first of the month after 60 days of employment
  • Sick time eligible after 6 months of employment

  • arenaflex is a W4 employer, we do NOT hire independent contractors

Requirements:

* Must be available to train on weekdays

  • Training takes place during the daytime hours, approximately 6 am-4:30 pm (PST)
  • Must have Open Availability 24/7 to work shifts inside the company's hours of operation
  • Attendance is vital!
  • A quiet place to work at home with a locked door

* Desktop Windows Computer (NO MACs or Chrome Book)

  • Processor: Intel i3, i5, i7 or i9 (recent generation)/AMD Ryzen 3, 5, 7, or 9 (recent generation)
  • 8GB RAM as a floor, 16GB RAM preferred
  • Dual Monitor
  • A high-quality USB headset
  • To be hardwired in at all times
  • Minimum internet speeds of:
