Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Technician to join our Customs Brokerage team on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week). As a Data Entry Technician, you'll be responsible for accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

* Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system

• Understand and identify customs documentation
• Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
• Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
• Provide excellent customer service building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
• Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
• Daily execution of workflow and department metrics

Qualifications

* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree

• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
• Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills
• Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in customs brokerage or supply chain management

• Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
• Experience with data entry software and systems
• Certification in customs brokerage or supply chain management (e.g. CGBP, CSCP)
