Responsibilities

As a Part-time Customer Support Representative – Chat Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate and timely responses to customer questions and concerns
  • Providing detailed information about our products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing
  • Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments and ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, helping our clients to build strong relationships with their customers
  • Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights and feedback to our clients
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of our evolving products and services, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and innovations

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry, although not necessary, is preferred
  • Intermediate internet and window-based computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
  • Strong ability to multitask, with a preference for gaming experience, which can help you stay focused and engaged in fast-paced environments
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment, with a willingness to learn and grow with our company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to work 4-hour time blocks daily, with flexible scheduling after completion of training
  • Must be able to attend 5 weeks of training Monday - Friday from 4PM – 8PM
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 16+ hours per week
  • Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, 40 and above is preferred

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues as needed
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Be able to work in a non-smoking environment
