Experienced Technical Customer Support Representative – Gaming Industry Expert

We're now seeking an experienced Technical Customer Support Representative to join our team and help us achieve this vision.

About the Role

As a Technical Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their technical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. You'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers via email, chat, and telephone, and providing guidance on computer software and hardware troubleshooting.

Schedule and Work Environment

We're a flexible and dynamic team, and we offer a variety of schedules to accommodate your needs. Our ideal candidate will be available to work Tuesday through Saturday, preferably from 10am to 6pm CT. You'll have the opportunity to work from home, which means you'll need a dedicated workspace with a reliable internet connection, a computer, and a headset.

Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying, investigating, and resolving customer questions or problems with computer software and hardware
  • Providing email, chat, and telephone support to end-users experiencing technical difficulties
  • Applying knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems
  • Guiding users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include the use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions
  • Identifying and escalating support situations requiring urgent attention
  • Tracking and routing support requests via our computerized ticketing system; thoroughly documenting resolutions
  • Staying current with product upgrades, system information, and business updates
  • Collaborating with other team members to research and resolve problems
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software
  • A thorough understanding of computer software and hardware, including desktop computers, network devices, and peripherals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • A professional and pleasant telephone manner
  • The ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • A willingness to have telephone conversations monitored for quality assurance

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, we prefer candidates with:

  • An Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in customer technical support

Physical Demands

As a Technical Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you'll need to be able to:

  • Sit for the duration of the workday
  • Use a keyboard, headset, and computer monitor for the workday
