Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting Customers with Billing Inquiries/Concerns: Provide timely and effective support to customers with billing inquiries and concerns, ensuring that their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensuring Accurate Account Information: Verify and update customer account information in our client system, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Providing Detailed Explanations: Clearly and concisely explain account status and inquiries to customers, ensuring that they have a thorough understanding of their account information.
  • Adhering to State and Federal Regulations: Ensure that all job duties are performed in accordance with relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Assisting with Delinquent Accounts: Work with customers to resolve delinquent accounts, following various state guidelines and procedures.
  • Utilizing Exceptional Communication Skills: Develop and maintain effective communication skills to fulfill both client and customer goals, ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous.

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be measured on the following key results areas:

  • Maintain an Average Inbound Handle Time: Ensure that all customer interactions are handled efficiently and effectively, with an average handle time that meets or exceeds our performance standards.
  • Achieve Quality Assurance Goals: Meet or exceed our quality assurance goals, ensuring that all customer interactions are of the highest quality and meet our performance standards.
  • Adhere to Production Measures: Meet or exceed our production measures, including time spent on calls, schedule adherence, and other key performance indicators.

Qualifications

To be successful as a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will need:

  • High School Graduate/Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
  • Detail-Oriented: You must be detail-oriented and able to organize and prioritize work to meet strict deadlines.
  • Effective Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Microsoft Applications: You must be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to Learn Software Applications: You must be able to learn and adapt to new software applications and systems.
  • Strong Focus on Exemplary Shift Attendance: You must have a strong focus on exemplary shift attendance, with a commitment to being on time and available for all scheduled shifts.

Technical Requirements

For remote positions, the minimum internet speed requirements are:

  • Broadband Internet Connection: A broadband internet connection is required, with a minimum speed of 25 mbps download and 20 mbps upload.
  • Hard Wired Connection: A hard-wired connection is required, with no Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi hotspots.
  • Camera Requirements: Cameras are required to be on during training from start to end of each shift, with the exception of breaks and lunches.
