Career Advancement Opportunities

Our structured career path offers a clear progression from Trainee to Pawnbroker, and from there to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Manager) and Store Manager in Training. With our 5-week paid training program, you'll have the opportunity to earn a $.50 raise and promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion. You'll also have access to our Pawnbroker Certification Program, which can earn you an additional $1/hour.
Responsibilities
As a Retail Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Interacting with customers daily, helping with sales and enjoying the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more.
- Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone.
- Processing sales, loans, and extensions.
- Performing opening and closing store duties.
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work well independently and as a member of a team.
- The ability to multitask.
- The ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Adherence to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics, is a plus.
- Sales background is a plus.
- Bilingual is a plus.

Work Environment
Our stores are fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Retail Customer Service Representative, you'll be working in a team environment, interacting with customers, and processing sales and loans. You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of customers, including those who are looking to pawn items, buy items, or take out loans.
Compensation
Pay range is based on experience from $12.50 – $15.00 per hour.
