Job Summary
As a Customs Trade Coordinator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for processing customs shipments, managing documentation, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll work closely with our internal teams, as well as external partners and clients, to ensure that all shipments are processed efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Process customs shipments, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all documentation and paperwork
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all shipments, including customs documentation and other relevant information
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including government agencies, transportation providers, and other stakeholders
- Process organization financier shipments, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all documentation and paperwork
- May handle distant filings, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all documentation and paperwork
- Ensure all service and operational strategies are followed, maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects and initiatives
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, logistics, or international trade
- No industry experience required, but a minimum of 6 months of work experience is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with data entry and computer systems, including Viewpoint and other relevant software
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle high volumes of work and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in customs brokerage or trade compliance
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and procedures
- Familiarity with customs documentation and paperwork
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams
- Experience with process improvement and implementation
