Job Summary
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will work closely with our team to analyze data, identify trends, and develop recommendations to improve our Quality Control processes. You will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and analyzing large amounts of data with precision and accuracy. Your findings will inform business decisions, drive process improvements, and contribute to our company's success.
Responsibilities and Expectations
The following are some of the key responsibilities and expectations of the Quality Control Standards Data Analyst:
- Perform and assist others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
- Help with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
- Assist with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.
- Present findings, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
- Help with creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, outlining the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
- Identify irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and convey findings to the team.
- Assess the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors
- Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision
- May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as data analysis, statistics, or business administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with precision and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and capacities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is a plus.
- Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
- Willingness to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is a plus.
- Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-focused environment.
- Ability to focus on responsibilities seriously and be a self-motivated individual.
- Past internship experience in a related field is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
