Key Responsibilities and Job Elements
As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and ensuring that they maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting, mentoring, and motivating your hourly workforce to achieve business objectives
- Managing safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
- Collaborating with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives
- Lifting up to 49 pounds and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
- Standing/walking for up to 12 hours during shifts
- Working in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
- Working in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
- Continuously climbing and descending stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

Essential Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a customer-facing or operations environment
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving business results

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
