Job Description:

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that drive business growth and innovation. You'll work closely with our Information Item Chiefs, Information Modelers, and Information Architects to design, implement, and deliver successful data solutions. Your expertise will be critical in helping us to:

• Design and develop data warehouses and data centers: You'll work with our team to design and develop scalable data warehouses and data centers that meet the needs of our business.
• Develop ETL pipelines in Big Data environments: You'll develop ETL pipelines in cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments using tools like Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake, and more.
• Engineer data structures and define data models: You'll work with our team to engineer data structures and define data models for our data warehouses and data shops.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: You'll work closely with our Information Item Chiefs, Information Modelers, and Information Architects to design, implement, and deliver successful data solutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation: You'll maintain detailed documentation of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data administration.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop data warehouses and data centers

• Develop ETL pipelines in Big Data environments
• Engineer data structures and define data models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Maintain detailed documentation
• Ensure high functional productivity and quality of solutions to meet SLAs and support obligations to our clients (Information Science, Information Examination groups)
• Be a proactive member and supporter of agile/scrum practice to ensure safety and cycle enhancements for your team

Key Capabilities:

* Solid SQL skills: You'll have the ability to write complex SQL queries to extract insights from large datasets and build performant datasets.

• Experience with distributed systems: You'll have experience with distributed systems like Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process large datasets.
• Strong programming skills: You'll have strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java/Scala.
• Experience with MPP or cloud database technologies: You'll have experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Strong experience with data integration toolsets: You'll have strong experience with data integration toolsets like Wind current and writing and maintaining data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling strategies: You'll have strong knowledge of data modeling strategies and data warehousing standard practices.
• Experience with agile/scrum methodologies: You'll have experience with agile/scrum methodologies and be able to apply them to your work.
