As a Staff Data Scientist, you will be the tech lead for all data science-related work, focusing on Customer Data Science initiatives that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities
As a Staff Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:
- Data Source Identification: Identify relevant data sources, define data requirements, and extract data for analysis. Review deliverables from junior colleagues and provide guidance.
- Problem Formulation: Analyze business problems, question assumptions, and identify solutions. Develop data analytics, machine learning, and automation goals, and outline key metrics to measure progress.
- Analytical Modeling: Select suitable modeling strategies for complex problems with multiple data sources. Develop variables and features iteratively based on model responses. Conduct exploratory data analysis, identify dimensions, and design experiments.
- Model Deployment & Scaling: Work with MLOps to deploy models to production, log and track model behavior, and identify parameters for adjustment.
- Code Development & Testing: Write code to develop solutions and application capabilities, create test cases, and validate proposed answer layouts.
- Applied Business Acumen: Evaluate business cases, influence stakeholder decision-making, and translate business needs into strategies and initiatives.
- Model Assessment & Validation: Identify and review model assessment metrics, apply testing and tuning strategies, and ensure testing records are documented.
- Data Visualization and Storytelling: Recommend visualization tools, generate graphical representations of data, and present insights to various audiences.
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 4 years of experience in an analytics-related field.
- Deep knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and data science.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R.
- Ability to execute projects from start to finish, including junior colleagues.
- Implementation of best practices in ML Ops, coding standards, and other areas.
- Clear communication with business, product, and application partners.
- Ability to translate complex algorithm evaluations into simple language.
- Ability to present to management and external clients.
