Job Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Working with large, messy, disparate datasets: You will analyze and manipulate data from various sources to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Developing data visualization: You will create impactful Tableau dashboards to display and quantify the effects of changes and specific business challenges.
- Engaging with cross-functional teams: You will collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems.
- Leveraging scripting languages: You will use Python (or other scripting languages) to automate tasks for reporting, such as screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition.
- Documenting tactics and sharing expertise: You will document your methods and share your knowledge with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent SQL skills: 2-4 years of experience with SQL, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity.
- Creativity with a User Experience basis: 1-2 years of experience with Tableau, with the ability to create impactful dashboards.
- Business Operations Fluency: Ability to recognize and root-cause business problems, with a Supply Chain background and transportation experience.
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau: Experience with data manipulation tools, such as Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
- Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations: Experience with scripting languages, such as Python.
- Experience with data manipulation tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
