Job Summary

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry & Customer Service (2nd Shift) at arenaflex, you will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients. You will also be involved in triaging customer service requests, calculating and verifying correct dosages, and maintaining accurate customer records. A Day in the Life

As a member of our front-end team, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our patients, including answering questions and resolving issues
  • Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
  • Calculating and/or verifying correct dosages based on prescriptions
  • Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
  • Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
  • Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications

* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law

  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior experience in the long-term care industry

  • PTCB National Certification
  • Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Skills and Competencies

* Excellent customer service skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists and other team members
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software

Compensation and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46 per hour. In addition to your compensation, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:
