The Role
We're seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our web and cloud applications. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure applications that meet the needs of our business. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with development teams and other stakeholders to design and develop scalable and secure web and cloud applications
- Develop and deploy applications using a range of technologies, including AWS, Python, and Java
- Work with data engineers to design and develop data pipelines and architectures
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards
- Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve defects
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
- 4+ years of experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, and other services
- 2+ years of experience with Python, including Flask and Django
- 2+ years of experience with Java, including Spring and Hibernate
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
* AWS certification, including Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
- Experience with data quality tools, including Great Expectations and Deequ
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
