Join Our Team

If you're an ambitious, results-oriented individual with a natural gift for talking to people, we have an opportunity for you to come and join our team. As a Customer Account Support Specialist, you'll play a critical role in servicing our large and growing portfolio. This position is 100% remote, and you'll be expected to be available for shift requirements between the hours of 8:00am – 7:00pm CST Monday – Friday and 8:00am – 12:00pm CST on Saturday.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Account Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting customers to determine the reason for payment delinquency and negotiating payments.
  • Handling accounts with speed and accuracy while maintaining professionalism.
  • Confirming and/or negotiating payment arrangements, researching any discrepancies.
  • Completing phone calls to meet required performance standards and metrics.
  • Maintaining established objectives for delinquency, repossessions, and net losses; staying informed of changes in policies and procedures.
  • Using computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting.
  • Documenting all accounts accurately, clearly, and concisely noting the reason for delinquency.
  • Responding with accurate information pertinent to the callers' questions using professionalism and integrity.
  • Adhering to all state and federal laws in the handling of accounts.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Good follow-up skills.
  • Persuasive negotiation skills.
  • Microsoft Windows and Internet-based applications experience required.
  • Basic typing/data entry skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work a five-day workweek, including some Saturdays.

Education & Experience

While a high school diploma or equivalent is required, we encourage candidates with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or a related field to apply. Prior experience in financial services or a similar industry is preferred.
