- Lead research projects to support the identification of therapeutic candidates from discovery into IND enabling studies.
- Execute studies to generate proof of concept data.
- Apply expertise to design, develop scientific activities/projects to identify therapeutic candidates.
- Demonstrate scientific excellence, initiate, design, and execute experiments/studies in support of goals in a time sensitive manner.
- Collaborate extensively with internal teams and be an impactful contributor and member of project teams.
About You
- Masters Degree in Biological Sciences, Biology, Molecular Biology, or related fields plus minimum 6 years relevant experience in an academic or biopharmaceutical setting.
- Strong background in cellular and molecular biology lab-based skills.
- Experience in gene therapy.
- Experience in preparing high quality documents including electronic lab notebook entries, technical reports, presentations, and experimental protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, enthusiastic and fast learner who pays close attention to detail.
- Ability to be flexible and pivot with changing priority of pace and project.
