Financial Director - Clean Beauty Luxury Brand Start up

Finance Director (Capital & Growth) – Seas of Sunshine We are looking for someone who understands both beauty and capital . Seas of Sunshine is a Mediterranean luxury fragrance oil brand building its global founding team. We are hiring a Finance Director (ideally US-based) to lead our upcoming raise and shape the financial strategy of the business . This is not a bookkeeping role. This is not a passive finance position. We are looking for someone who has personally raised capital for a beauty, fragrance, or consumer brand and knows how to take a round from strategy to close . What we need:

• Proven experience

raising capital (angel / seed / Series A)

• Strong understanding of beauty or consumer brand investors
• Ability to build the financial story, model, and data room
• Existing investor relationships and access
• Confidence to lead conversations and close capital

What you will own:

• Fundraising strategy and execution
• Investor outreach and relationship management
• Financial modelling and investor narrative
• Data room and due diligence process
• Closing the round and setting up the next stage of growth

Engagement structure: We are open to candidates joining:

• Full-time (equity-first, salary activated post-raise)
• Fractional / advisory initially, transitioning into full-time

For fractional or advisory roles:

• This is a

performance-based engagement

• Equity is directly tied to capital raised and closed
• No time-based or passive equity
• Clear path to a full-time leadership role upon successful raise

Important:

• This role is for operators who have

actually raised capital , not those who support from the sidelines

• Bookkeeping, reporting, or purely financial control backgrounds are not relevant for this position
