- *Mission and Defining Characteristics:
- Apply Trend, Market, & Shopper Insights to drive Ecommerce Growth Strategy in support of 3-5yr plan with commercial management committee across all indirect Ecommerce Retailers.
- Explore, develop and leverage deep shopper, social, market insights to drive short term category strategies for field teams to execute opportunities for retailer and CPD brands
- Serve as Online shopper expert for Sales, Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Category Development, and Brand Business Development teams
- *Main Tasks:
- *Digital Acceleration (O+O Retailers: Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, Ulta, Kroger)
- Identify gaps/areas of opportunity & prioritization across ecommerce retailers.
- Partner with CPD Acct Digital Accelerators & NAMs to highlight importance of Ecommerce Channel within Retailer O+O Ecosystem.
- Identify, Develop, & Present shopper opportunities to CPD Commercial Teams to increase beauty share of wallet & Improve the Beauty Customer Experience.
- Be the Voice of the Beauty Shopper: Provide Thought Leadership on Beauty Shopper Behavior & Journey across all touchpoints.
- Align with Category Development Team on Retailer Priorities & Uncover Shopper Problems To Solve.
Develop, Own, and Drive Category Shopper Expertise to Grow $ share
- Identify, share, and align on category opportunities across on O+O Retailers. Deliver action steps to commercial sales teams for retail specific implementation that will drive dollar share growth, Improve Discoverability, & Increase Conversion.
- Utilize Market, Retailer, & Shopper data to define forward looking category opportunities & quantify size of prize & key levers/solutions to capture in collaboration with Commercial Teams.
- Develop the blueprint for 6Ps of Ecommerce (Product, Promotion, Placement, Price, Page, Performance) on O+O Retailers.
Evaluate Competitive Landscape Analyses To Uncover Opportunities that drive traffic, conversion, & basket size in order to increase CPD market share.
- Uncover emerging omni shopper trends, where we partner with CMI to create a Shopper/Consumer centric story that provides Marketing with insight, validation, and recommendations
- Drive recommendation for category-level site experience and navigation through Shopper Studies. Summarize & Commercialize actionable outputs to internal/external stakeholders (Sales/Marketing/Retail Teams)
Democratize Data & Insights Across the Organization
- Champion Insights led approach through supporting the democratization of digital toolkit. (ERetail Tech, Rakuten, Profitero, Syndigo, Omni-Shopper Panel, Nielsen, etc.)
- Partner with Ecommerce Data Engineers to develop eCommerce dashboards and reporting for a cross-functional leadership audience; track key performance metrics for eCommerce performance.
- Leverage Data Visualization Tools (Tableau, PowerBI) to share data/insights across the organization.
- Support/Train Cross Functional Partners (Sales, Marketing, Cat Dev, Supply Chain) on Digital Tool Kit, & Shopper Behavior shifts to ensure E-Commerce is at the forefront of our commercial strategy.

- *Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Digital Marketing, Digital Shelf, or Content Creation Experience
- Strong Understanding of the Digital Industry. Beauty and Content Experience a Plus
- High Proficiency in MS Office: Excel and PowerPoint are a Must Have Skill. Ability to Create High Impact Presentations and Proficiency in Telling a Cohesive Story
- Must be Skilled at Executing Within Tight Timeframes with Excellent Attention to Detail, Accuracy, and a Sense of Urgency.
- Ability to Manage Multiple Priorities Simultaneously and Meet Multiple, Competing Deadlines
