Seeking an Experienced Book Designer for Print & Kindle (KDP) Publishing
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Book Designer to transform manuscripts into professionally polished books ready for both print and Kindle publishing. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling, ensuring each book is clean, engaging, and fully compliant with publishing standards.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
• Design and format book interiors for both eBook (Kindle) and print (paperback/hardcover)
- Create visually appealing, reader-friendly layouts aligned with the book’s genre and audience
- Prepare files that meet Amazon KDP and other self-publishing platform requirements
- Handle typography, spacing, margins, headers/footers, and overall layout consistency
- Incorporate images, graphics, or illustrations where necessary
- Deliver high-quality, error-free final files (PDF, EPUB, MOBI if needed)
- *Requirements:**
• Proven experience in book design and formatting for self-publishing platforms
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe InDesign, Canva, or similar design software
- Strong understanding of KDP guidelines and publishing standards
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver clean, professional work
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
• Experience designing both fiction and non-fiction books
- Knowledge of cover design (a plus but not required)
- Familiarity with typography and branding for authors
- *Project Scope:**
