The role involves overseeing a large department or program, managing budgets and staff, implementing programs, and representing the department to various stakeholders while supporting alumni engagement through networks and events. Highlights
- Oversees operations of a large alumni relations program or center, including staff management and budget planning.
- Supports design and delivery of alumni engagement programs via networks and associations.
- Collaborates with Alumni Relations and university colleagues to plan and execute events that enhance alumni connection.
- Cultivates and supports alumni volunteers and affinity network leaders through guidance and communication.
- Develops communications and outreach materials promoting alumni activities and engagement.
- Handles event logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, and post-event reporting.
- Maintains records on alumni and volunteer participation, tracks metrics, and collects feedback to assess program effectiveness.
- Requires knowledge of alumni engagement, volunteer management, event planning, strong relationship-building, and excellent communication skills.
- Requires minimum five years of related experience or equivalent education; flexibility in accepting education in lieu of experience and vice versa.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience and education.
