Overview: The Director, Federal Enterprise Transformation will lead the strategic vision, growth, and operational excellence of the organization’s efforts to modernize the federal IT landscape through large-scale digital innovation and resilient enterprise solutions. This executive will be responsible for shaping and executing a domain strategy that drives sustainable growth, delivers mission‑critical federal IT solutions, and ensures high‑quality execution across federal agencies. The director is accountable for pipeline growth, customer relationships, solution positioning, and delivery oversight, ensuring alignment with federal agencies missions such as Cloud smart, platform engineering, Cyber security, DevSecOps, Interoperability, data portability, and enterprise integration, Enterprise Data engineering, Data Analytics, AI/ML enablement. This role requires strong executive leadership, deep understanding of federal IT environments, and the ability to collaborate across growth, solution, and delivery teams. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Domain Growth

  • Establish and execute a domain‑level strategy for Enterprise Transformation domain aligned with organizational objectives and federal agency missions.
  • Define and lead the Enterprise Transformation domain strategy, positioning the organization as a trusted federal partner for large‑scale enterprise modernization, platform transformation, and mission‑driven digital outcomes.
  • Define and achieve annual domain revenue targets, growth objectives, and profit margins.
  • Monitor federal agency enterprise modernization priorities, architectural mandates, and regulatory drivers to identify transformation opportunities across platforms, data, integration, and cloud ecosystems
  • Build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline across federal agencies (e.g., VA, HHS, CMS, NIH, DHA, USDA).
  • Establish domain roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics to ensure strategic alignment and execution discipline.

Federal Healthcare Domain Leadership

  • Provide executive leadership across core Enterprise Transformation focus areas, driving measurable mission and business outcomes, including:
  • Enterprise cloud modernization and platform engineering, enabling scalable, resilient, and secure federal IT environments
  • DevSecOps and continuous delivery enablement, accelerating time‑to‑value through automation, pipeline optimization, and embedded security
  • Enterprise data engineering, advanced analytics, and AI/ML enablement, including Responsible AI, intelligent automation, and AI capabilities aligned to real‑world mission outcomes
  • Interoperability, data portability, and enterprise integration, supporting cross‑agency information exchange and standards‑based architectures
  • Security, privacy, and regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with federal mandates, risk management frameworks, and accreditation requirements
  • Workforce modernization, reskilling, and digital literacy, building transformation‑ready teams capable of sustaining enterprise change
  • Maintain working knowledge of federal policies, standards, and frameworks (e.g., interoperability mandates, data governance, privacy requirements).
  • Engage credibly with federal agency stakeholders to understand mission needs, delivery challenges, and operational priorities.

Business Development & Customer Engagement

  • Collaborate with Growth teams-BD, Capture, Solution, and Program teams to identify, shape, and pursue healthcare IT opportunities.
  • Lead and support proposal development efforts, providing executive oversight, win themes, and domain alignment.
  • Cultivate and maintain trusted executive‑level relationships with federal customers and partners.
  • Support capture strategies, solution differentiation, and competitive positioning to improve win probability.
  • Achieve or exceed established performance targets, including TCV and pipeline conversion goals.

Delivery & Operational Oversight

  • Provide executive oversight to ensure program delivery aligns with contractual commitments, quality standards, and customer expectations.
  • Ensure effective coordination between delivery teams, solution architects, and customer stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve delivery risks proactively, escalating as necessary to maintain performance and customer confidence.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee financial management, including budgets, resource utilization, and profitability across the healthcare domain.
  • Ensure delivery outcomes align with agency missions, compliance requirements, and long‑term customer value.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated track record of driving business growth, developing winning strategies, and ensuring operational excellence in federal IT environments.
  • 20+ years of professional experience, including:
  • * 10+ years leading operations at a federal contractor
  • 5+ years leading or supporting growth initiatives at a federal contractor
  • Proven executive leadership experience in Federal IT, systems modernization, or related federal mission domains.
  • Strong understanding of federal healthcare agencies, acquisition environments, and procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with enterprise transformation capabilities, including federal cloud and platform modernization, enterprise data platforms, interoperability and integration architectures, DevSecOps enablement, and large‑scale enterprise systems modernization.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional leadership skills.

Education:

  • Ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation
  • US Citizen only.

Location:

  • Remote, USA.

Pay Range:

  • The pay for this position ranges from $210,730 to $230,500.
  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
  • Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
