Senior Accountant II
Job Description:
- Perform month-end close tasks including preparation of general ledger entries and analysis as assigned
- Review period close submissions and assist in month/quarter end reporting package consolidation
- Perform detail reviews of regional and/or divisional balance sheets and bank reconciliations ensuring timely completion and documentation of issues identified and resolved
- Complete divisional balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations as assigned by management
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research to ensure accuracy
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures / policies, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Maintain, control and reconcile accounts that are moderate to very complex in nature
- Assist divisional management team in completing corporate or executive management ad hoc requests
- Assist with special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA preferred
- 5-7 years’ comparable work experience
- Strong accounting experience
- Quality problem solving and communication skills
- Oracle experience a plus
- Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
