The Global Data Center (DC) Vertical is a rapidly growing business focused on delivering high performance cooling and infrastructure technologies to hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise customers. We are seeking a Specialist - FP&A, to lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and investment analysis for the Global DC vertical. This role is central to shaping financial strategy, supporting major growth investments, and enabling operational excellence across Engineering, Operations, Commercial, and Product teams. Role Responsibilities: Financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting as well as preparation of action plans and recommendations for business and operational decisions. Help support the month-end close process, quarterly forecast, and annual plan processes for the CHVAC North America team Provide forward‑looking analytics on revenue, margin, OPEX, and investment performance. Provides guidance on contract terms and cash implications for new and prospective customers. Assist with understanding margin and pricing implications for new deals. Collaborate effectively with accounting and other departments to drive thoughtful on spending. Maintain a detailed monthly and quarterly Investment (CapEx & OPEX) outlook by project, category (Engineering, Operations, NPD, Digital), and region. Develop, test, and implement automation solutions to streamline forecasting, reporting, and investment tracking Prepare financial review materials for senior executives and global business leadership. Partner closely with the Global DC Vertical leadership team to support strategic planning, long‑range modeling, capacity investments, and market expansion decisions. Perform special projects and ad hoc business/financial analysis where needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 1+ year of work experience in one of Carrier's Early Careers Leadership Programs (LPs) Currently enrolled in one of Carrier's Leadership Programs (LPs) with successful completion of the program in May 2026 Applicant must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident Preferred Qualifications BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Advanced level skills developing analysis in Excel, PowerBI and/or MS Access. Proven success as a Finance professional within a growth-oriented company, demonstrated experience in driving operational efficiency. Demonstrates the highest level of integrity, honesty, compassion, and credibility. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Clear and direct communicator, approachable, and an active listener. Manufacturing experience preferred Proven success as a Finance Leader within a growth-oriented company, demonstrated experience in driving operational efficiency. Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. Other Compensation This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
