Medical Debt Collector Bi Lingual

Medical Business Bureau, LLC, a revenue cycle management firm, is seeking experienced medical debt collectors capable of handling a high call volume. While our corporate office is based in Park Ridge, IL, we currently offer the option of remote work from home, provided you have access to high-speed internet. We are specifically looking for full-time individuals, preferably bilingual, who can efficiently secure patient payments. Responsibilities:

• Contact consumers via telephone or in writing to collect delinquent medical bills assigned for collection.
• Communicate with patients or their designated representatives professionally to address and resolve any issues or concerns.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations governing the medical collections industry and the handling of private health information.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of communication history for assigned accounts, documenting information about consumers and collection efforts.
• Manage individual queues and work within a dialing system.
• Achieve a minimum of 150 calls handled per day.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Prior experience in medical debt collection is valuable, with the ability to negotiate, analyze, and resolve problems effectively.
• Reliable, self-directed team player.
• The ability to work at a fast pace as well as type at least 40 WPM.
• Strong attention to detail and proficient PC skills such as Microsoft Office, collection software and MS Teams.
• Familiarity with City, State, and Federal laws governing the medical debt collection industry is a plus.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $31,200 to $37,440 depending on experience and qualifications. As well as a Commission Program. Benefits:
