School Occupational Therapist - Forest Grove, Oregon

Working onsite, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to foster student participation and functional skills within both classroom and school community settings. Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license, or eligibility to obtain licensure, in Oregon
- Previous experience or interest in school-based occupational therapy services
- Comfortable working with K-12 caseloads, adapting strategies for diverse needs and age groups
- Strong communication skills to partner with students, families, teachers, and support staff
- Commitment to upholding confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans to address students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive skill needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective accommodations and supports
- Provide training and resources to staff to facilitate inclusion in school activities
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress evaluation
- Adapt therapy approaches to changing needs within a K-12 educational setting
