Overview

Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs in order to achieve maximum potential. Displays treatment skills practicing within the scope of State Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations with National Board and governing bodies in the state of practice. * Mercy Hospital Washington 901 E 5th Street Washington, MO 63090 Schedule: 32 hours per week Setting: Inpatient/Acute Care (16 hrs) + Outpatient Therapy (16 hrs) Opportunity to Grow into Full-Time We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our therapy team in a unique hybrid role that blends Inpatient/Acute Care and Outpatient Therapy practice. This part-time position offers 32 hours per week, evenly split between settings, with the opportunity to grow into full-time hours over time. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys clinical variety, values continuity of care, and has a passion for Neuro/Stroke rehabilitation while also treating a diverse outpatient population. Position Highlights

  • Hybrid role:
  • 16 hours/week in Inpatient/Acute Care
  • 16 hours/week in Outpatient Therapy
  • Neuro/Stroke focus with exposure to a broad range of general OT diagnoses

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Licensure: Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days. Certifications: Current BLS through the American Heart Association Other: Must be able to respond to emergency situations Preferred Certifications: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy Why Mercy?
