Grades 6 - 8 Grades K - 5 Telehealth Speech Therapy in LA
This contract position involves delivering speech-language pathology services via telespeech to students in grades K-8. Working remotely, the role supports speech development and communication skills for children across elementary and middle school levels. A dedicated facilitator will assist in coordinating and pulling students for therapy sessions to maximize effectiveness. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting individual and group speech therapy sessions through telespeech platforms for students in grades K-5 and 6-8.
- Administering speech and language assessments as needed to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate speech goals within the educational framework.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and session notes in compliance with district guidelines.
- Adhering to confidentiality and professional standards in all interactions.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience providing teletherapy speech services to school-aged children.
- Familiarity with speech disorders commonly seen in elementary and middle school students.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage students in a virtual setting.
- Ability to work independently and in conjunction with facilitators and school personnel.
