Licensed Therapist ( LGPC/ LGSW/ LPC / LICSW/ LCSW)
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist (LGPC, LGSW, LPC, or equivalent) to join our dynamic mental health team. - **Free clinical Supervision is available for licensed graduates working a minimum of 20 hours a week. We are committed to supporting professional growth, licensure advancement, and ongoing clinical development within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to establish treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health emergencies effectively while ensuring client safety and stability.
- Deliver specialized counseling services including trauma-focused care for PTSD, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including detailed progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records using appropriate medical terminology and ICD coding.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts to coordinate patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Utilize telehealth platforms proficiently to extend access to mental health services remotely while adhering to clinical best practices.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC), Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent in your state.
- Demonstrated experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, or art/dance therapies.
- Strong knowledge of crisis management techniques and crisis intervention protocols.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities in outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnosis documentation; experience with medical records management is preferred.
- Proficiency in telehealth technology platforms and delivering virtual mental health services effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
