Axiom Functional Application Administrator – Contract Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Axiom Functional Application Administrator for an opportunity with one of the leading banks . This is a great fit for someone with strong banking and finance domain knowledge who enjoys working hands-on with business applications, system configuration, and reporting workflows. This is not a heavy development or ETL role . The ideal candidate will come from a blended operations, business systems, or application administration background and have experience configuring Axiom to support finance, reporting, and loan-related processes. Role Details Title: Axiom Functional Application Administrator Employment Type: Contract Duration: 6-month contract Location: Remote with travel to New York as needed What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will support and administer the Axiom application in a functional, business-facing capacity. You will be responsible for configuring business rules, logic, permissions, schedules, and reporting workflows within Axiom, while ensuring the platform aligns with business and operational needs. You will also work closely with finance, reporting, operations, and business teams to understand requirements, assess downstream impacts, and ensure changes are properly applied across connected banking processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support the Axiom application from a functional and business-facing perspective
- Configure and maintain business rules, logic, permissions, schedules, and reporting workflows
- Manage how data is routed and applied within Axiom after it has landed in the platform
- Support finance, reporting, and loan-related workflows
- Assess downstream impacts of system changes across connected business processes
- Partner with business and operations teams to align system configuration with business needs
- Troubleshoot functional issues and support ongoing enhancements within the application
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience with
Axiom , preferably in a banking or financial services environment
- Strong understanding of banking, finance, reporting, and related business processes
- Experience in a blended
operations / business systems / application administration role
- Ability to think across functions and understand the broader business impact of system changes
- Experience configuring in-application business rules, logic, permissions, and workflows
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with business stakeholders
