We are seeking a motivated Mental Health Counselor - Limited Permit (MHC-LP) who is eager to build a consistent caseload while earning supervised hours toward their LMHC. • *The Role As a remote MHC-LP, you will provide structured, goal-oriented psychotherapy to a diverse population of adults and couples. Our practice is built on a multi-theoretical framework, allowing you to integrate various modalities while receiving dedicated professional mentorship.
• *Key Responsibilities
• Inclusive Clinical Care: Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations through a multicultural and trauma-informed lens.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Deliver individual and couples therapy using CBT, ACT, and DBT-informed approaches.
• Specialized Relational Work: Incorporate IFS-informed and/or Gottman Method frameworks (preferred) to support couples and individuals.
• Multilingual Support: Leverage your language skills to provide care to New York’s diverse communities (multilingual candidates highly encouraged).
• Clinical Excellence: Maintain timely documentation and treatment plans aligned with CPT and ICD-10 standards within our integrated EHR.
• *Requirements
• Licensure: Active MHC-LP (Limited Permit) in New York State.
• Cultural Humility: A deep commitment to providing inclusive, identity-affirming, and culturally responsive care.
• Professional Agency: Ability to manage a clinical caseload of 25+ sessions per week independently within a systems-driven environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable delivering high-quality virtual care and navigating digital health systems.
• Schedule: Minimum 25 clinical hours per week, including at least one high-demand shift (mornings, evenings, or weekends).
