We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with experience in medical billing and insurance payment posting. Accurately and timely post insurance payments into the company's billing system. Work closely with the billing team to ensure all payments are posted correctly and discrepancies are resolved. Review and reconcile insurance payments to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify and communicate any coding or billing errors to the appropriate team members for resolution. Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy in payment posting. Handle any inquiries or issues related to insurance payments from patients, insurance companies, or other stakeholders. Collaborate with insurance companies to resolve any payment or coverage issues. Keep accurate records of all payment transactions and maintain organized filing systems. Ensure all insurance payments are processed according to company policies and procedures. Continuously monitor and report on payment trends and identify areas for improvement. Assist with other tasks or projects related to insurance billing and payment processes as needed. Comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Attend training and educational sessions to stay updated on industry changes and best practices. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
